The future of MAGTF [C.sup.2]
Article Abstract:
Marine air-ground task force (MAGTF) command and control ([C.sup.2]) entails a truly interoperable Marine Corps [C.sup.2] capability that is common, scalable, modular, and seamlessly employable on land and at sea, and that enhances the lethality and effectiveness of the MAGTF across the range of military operations through better decision-making, collaboration, and shared understanding. It aims to provide a holistic, end-to-end, turnkey [C.sup.2] capability to execute commander's intent, facilitate implicit communications, and so on, and ultimately accomplish the mission.

Vests help Marines be invisible in night
Article Abstract:
The U.S. Marine Corps are using the latest body armor vests that makes almost impossible to see through night-vision goggles. The Coyote Brown vest, which uses a fabric made by Wichita, Kansas-based Invista, blends in with the Marine's surroundings when seen through night-vision goggles and the fabric is engineered with microscopic particles that inhibit the reflection of infrared light, the wavelength visible to those goggles.
